I have Selfie-Phobia, phone photos literally scare me more than cockroaches.  Glancing in the mirror is generally an alarm-free event, but should I unintentionally activate a phone camera’s malicious lens on my own strangely shadowed face. which I can only describe as partially decayed, I have to hold back gasps.  I didn’t become a stylist because I secretly yearned for a spot on America’s Next Top Model.  But I will tell you that I feel a lot better staring down a camera lens if I’m wearing a color that minimizes the effects of pregnancy hormones and lack of sleep on my skin.  And if a good color can help me to hold a legitimate Facetime conversation with my New Zealand stationed parents instead of cringing at my supposed digital likeness the entire time, fashion is instantly transformed from superficial to substantial.
