6 years ago this month, I placed Cardigan Empire in the cradle of the world wide web. Birthed from my fertile heart, she was my first born. A balm to my body image, devastated by 5 years of infertility. I hoped she could also help others. Half a dozen years later, she’s befriended thousands. I’ve added three fleshy siblings to our family through adoption and biology, a college class, a youtube channel, and now in 2014, we add clothes.
