The Disney dynasty (Cinderella, Belle, Rapunzel, Ariel), my daughter lip-syncs their songs, crayon fills their likenesses, and stores their signatures. But I want Coco to be the heroine of her own fairytale. Trusting that she is brave and strong and beautiful. I want her to be messy and make mistakes, to love her scabby knees as much as her glossed lips. So I joined the team of Red Poppy Photo and Beth Allen Art, fellow moms and artists, to art direct and stage a photoshoot at the Uptown Plaza Shopping Center (currently under renovations) to showcase two petite princesses in My Little Jules princess-worthy collection from Tutu Du Monde and Joyfolie.
