You are Winter.  Whether you lean clear, deep, or cool, each of these categories share some of the same color favor-abilities.   But how do you assemble your personal wardrobe?  Below are some of my favorite items that would perfectly compliment a cool and  brilliant capsule wardrobe.

gray — mint — emerald — navy — cobalt — black

When you’re wearing a great color for your complexion, it will bring out the individual colors in your features.  You’ll see highlights and lowlights in your hair.  You’ll see shades, tints, and individual hues in your eyes.  When the color is off your features will look flat and slightly gray.

Once you know you’re a Spring, be it warm, light, or clear.  Each of these categories share the features of clarity and although not entirely warm, leaning in that direction.   So what should you wear?  Below are some of my favorite ideas for mixing and matching a warm and fresh capsule wardrobe.

iris — mushroom — cream — warm gray

Did you know it’s easier to wear a pattern than a solid color? Patterns include multiple colors in smaller doses. The larger the amount of color in a pattern the more consideration you should give it. Most of the smaller bits of color become negligible.  But even if the overall color formula is slightly off (ie a little cool, slightly dark), the pattern will keep the eye moving and make the mismatch less noticeable.
