Costume

Our first family Halloween Coco, Andrew, festooned our tribe in the manner of Indians. Our 2nd family halloween we assumed roles in Annie (Coco-Annie, Levi-Daddy Warbucks, Reachel-Miss Hannigan, Andrew-Rooster). Our third family October 31st was celebrated as woodland creatures. And last All Hallow’s Eve: the theme was art (Coco-Frida Kahlo, Levi-Andy Warhol, Oscar-Picasso, Me-Georgia O’Keefe, Andrew-Van Gogh).

This year I benevolently allowed Coco and Levi to select their own costumes. But I may not have been able to surrender the family theme.

In order to stay united yet honor individuality, we had to somehow connect a kitty and a Rescuebot Transformer.

So we added Devin Supertramp, Lindsey Stirling, called a Kitty a Cat Video, a transformer an Unboxing Video,

and asked Oscar to brand us.

What were you this halloween?

Three years ago today, five pounds seven ounces of daughter were placed inside my heart. After a half a decade of searching, a selfless birthmother had found our Coco Noelle, and Andrew and I were finally parents.
