I love having an organized diaper bag! When my second was born, I found that the trick for me was to stock the bag when I got home and still remembered was I needed to replace. It saved time from having to dig through the bag and see what was missing and just worked better for me. Also, I have what I call a ‘purse bag’ where I keep all the miscellaneous stuff (chapstick, tissues, small bottle of screen, nail file, etc). It isn’t very big and then if I am going out without the kids I can just throw it into whatever purse I want and I am always prepared.
I have one 2 1/2 year old boy and another boy on the way. It already takes me at least 45 minutes to get us out of the house–after I am dressed and ready to go! With the second one on the way I am trying to figure out a routine to get us out and in the car faster. Oy.
ah, you make me want to buy a new diaper bag!!!
i usually just keep a diaper & a ziploc of cheerios in all my bags for those times when i forget. and i have a cute little zipper pouch where i keep essentials like chapstick and altoids that i can put into whatever bag i’m using so i don’t have to dig around and forget something.

I was just wondering what the skip hop diaper bag has going on inside? I am about to have my 3rd and need something roomy (I already have a 2 1/2 and a 1 year old) with pockets or straps to keep bottles from leaking (my pet peeve in life). I looked on the website but there wasn’t a photo or description of the inside of the bag so I would appreciate if you could enlighten me 🙂 Thanks!

While I love the idea of having an organized diaper bag this is not something I am doing much lately (but it will surely be a post I refer to once another little tiny enters our lives in a couple of yearsish). My question has to deal with skinny jeans. Do you have any skinny jeans/jeggins suggestions. I have super curvy, short legs and I don’t like low rise pants (I’d prefer to have a waist at my rib cage rather than falling off my bootie). I have been hesitant to try the skinnies, but now I have some boots that are just begging to be worn with pants. I don’t love shopping, so I need a game plan…HELP me.
For curvy and short leggies, I usually recommend a straight cut over skinny, but if you’re tucking the cuffs into boots it shouldn’t make much of a difference. Here are two options for exploration:
