Your swimwear phobia descends from your ankle ascensions. Morbid fear abounds as you view bodies of water larger than a bathtub and imagine yourself exposing one or more of the following:
- squat stems
- lavishly fleshy hips
- cellulite ushering saddlebags
- a swimsuit munching bottom
Hyperventilation may be stopped by something far more attractive than a paper bag. Below is a collection of swimwear to induce bathing bravery:
Boy shorts highlight the exquisitely curved shape of your hips, thighs, and end note without going into uncomfortable details.
The strong diagonal lines draw a shorter distance across your lower levels while the one shoulder ornamentation draws attention to your statuesque collar bones.
Higher cut leglines lengthen and lean leglets without compromising coverage in the rear. Bright colorblocking emboldens your gentler half.
This bathing skirt flirts around your powerful flanks offering your super-limbs full anonymity.

I agree that the diagonal one is gorgeous.
You are the expert, so who am I to question your knowledge here, but I can’t say that I personally find the boyshort look flattering on lower figured ladies like myself. I think it’s a myth — people think they’ll look a little better with more coverage on their widest parts, but to me it just draws attention. I always leave the boy shorts styles to those with stick legs. 2 cents from little old me. : )

Kate,
You’re actually correct about aversion to boy shorts in some cases. There are many different types of lower figures. If you want to highlight a long, lean leg length, you’re actually better off with a higher cut, more revealing leg.
For those who have length, but want to camouflage a few jiggles, a boy short may be the right option.
Even in the lower figure category, there’s still a lot of variation, so be sure to try it on.
