Sipping kaffir lime soda, dabbing the nape of my neck with an iced lemongrass towel, waiting for my Thai foot massage, soon all my extremities will be occupied. But I will return ere long to our quest for beauty, style, and etiquette.
While I’m abroad, please deliver your topic suggestions in the comments. I look forward to chatting with you over duty free chocolate when I return.

First off, I’m pretty sure this photo is of you and you are gorgeous. I love stopping by for fashion advice.
I would love it if you would tackle children’s fashion to include everyday fashion but also cute stuff for kids to wear to church, on special occasions, etc.
Also, cute workout clothing for women.
Happy travels!

I love love love that picture of you!
I don’t know if you have covered it already on your site, but I am very interested in what to pack (fashion wise) for a vacation I’ll be taking to Greece. I’d love to know how to pack light and still look fabulous. ..When vacationing anywhere for that matter!

Now, thanks to you, that I’m made-over my own wardrobe and I’m looking fabulous, I’d love it if you did a series on men’s clothing! I hate to say it, but I’m no good at dressing my “Ken” doll (and neither is he)! There seem to be so many “rules” for women’s clothing (body type, age appropriate-ness, etc) but very little that I have learned about men’s clothing. Help!

I would like to know how to look feminine in a scout uniform. You know you look great in Thailand. Thanks for the pics. Looking forward to the full play by play when you return. Your life is so glamorous, I feel popular just knowing you.

I agree with Maria-I would love to see something for kids.
Also, do you have any suggestions with vintage clothing?
I’m sure your style spills over into your home-I’m sure we’d love a peak if you’re willing.
And I’d love to hear more about accessories. And hair.
And really whatever else you want to tell us-I’ll listen(:
Have a fantastic trip!

I am a new devotee to your blog… so perhaps you have done this in the past. I would love to learn more about color selection. Exhibit A: I have golden hair, chocolate eyes, and medium skin tone. What colors are going to do me the most justice??

Love your blog! I would be thrilled to hear suggestions on what to do with a long waist. Most shirts are to short and sadly I am a pear.

Have fun!
What I have been seeking on your blog is advice for petite women. I’m a petite pregnant pear, and lemme tell you, things are NOT looking good thusfar.

Oh, one more thing-how about patterns? I love to sew some of my own clothes and would really like to hear your suggestions.

Great picture! I hope you’re enjoying your trip! I LOVE your blog. A friend told me about it and I think I spent an entire Saturday afternoon reading every post I’d ever missed. It’s so inspiring! I would love to see specific outfits/styles made with essential pieces. (Long cardigan + tank + pencil jeans + flat sandals) I feel like I have so many pieces that I love… I just don’t know how to put them together to make great outfits. Hope that makes sense.

Welcome back. I hope you had a great trip. How but some fashion advise for petite plus size. I’m 5’4″ and a size 16-18 and a definate apple shape, I carry all my weight in my belly. I’m working on it, but it will take time. In the meantime, I need to learn how to dress me as I am now.

I love that you even found Thai script for your post- I served my mission there and don’t see it often. I hope you enjoyed your vacation and Thai foot massages!

I have to ask! I am headed to Thailand in 2 weeks for a month long trip, including hiking, cooking school, city life, and beach living.
What did you pack? What do you recommend taking along as essentials for Thailand?

Hello there!
I know this is an older post… but I am always thinking of you and your lovely site here. As I was reading through my most recent O Magazine, I found a great article about boots. The seasons are a-changin’ and I am contemplating the purchase of some new boots to “kick off” this season of cooler air. I would LOVE it if sometime you featured a post or two on how to wear boots. What type of boots lend themselves to certain outfits… which boots look best tucked into jeans with a chunky sweater, and which are best paired with a dress and peacoat, and how the heck can I pull off the over the knee tighter style boots? I don’t even know where to begin. Seems that every year I oooh and ahhh over the latest boot styles that come out… I just never know how I can pull them off. Thanks for listening. I just love your site!
