Happy Third Birthday Coco

Three years ago today, five pounds seven ounces of daughter were placed inside my heart.   After a half a decade of searching, a selfless birthmother had found our Coco Noelle, and Andrew and I were finally parents.
To celebrate we invited some of little miss’s favorite woodland friends over to celebrate.
We lunched on
rainbow fairy wands,
cheesy toadstools,
frosted dew drops,
nuts, berries, and twigs,
and finished our feast with toadstool and grassy knoll cupcakes.
Then we toasted Coco’s good heath with chocolate milk.

Guests of note included one resistant gnome, a handsome lumberjack daddy,
a red riding hostess,
and dear little deer, Auntee Ashley
Happy Birthday Cookie, I am honored to answer to your “ma-ma.”

I was waiting with baited breath for details on the party since the moment I saw the adorable ideas you had pinned. It looks to have been a success and it was a very original theme! I love that both Claire Nielson and Coco have the same birthday! Very neat, if you ask me! Also, can’t wait until Levi’s party!

I love the book–so very sweet and I love the analogy of searching and the birthmother finding the baby.

Happy birthday! On my oldest’s birthday I always feel like it’s a celebration for me too, the day I first became a mother–he and I are both still figuring it out together.
