Love these segments you’ve been doing, but I live in TX & I gotta comment on the cardigan…you won’t need to pack that this time of year! And, I think I’d go with a different top…something plaid maybe? The sailboat theme is not really Austin (even with the lake, it’s all speedboats) The boots and everything else are way cute though.

Amy,
I love that I get to talk to chic city natives. You bring up some good points. The reason I included the cardigan is I find that summer indoors, with air conditioning blasting, can make for unexpected chills. I always pack a layer just in case. Regarding the sailboat tank, I sometimes include something that doesn’t quite fit so ensembles come out unexpected rather than costume. I do like your idea of trying plaid though.

my heart just skipped a beat. can I have all of those lovely items? If I drool over them long enough is it possible that they will become real?? it would make me one happy cowgirl.

I always said if I move to Texas I’m buying a nice pair of cowboy boots. Hopefully that day will come.
